Shimmer-ing Stars

Our Shimmers class for 7 – 9 year olds is the next step in following a young dancers passion for movement.  Children can learn to build their confidence through the energetic and exciting dance routines whilst having great fun making friends. With lots of performances set throughout the year, giving everyone the chance to dance and show off for their friends and family, what’s not to love?

Thursdays – 16:20pm – 17:20pm

Shimmers classes run all year round with only a short break for Christmas. Upon joining the Ruby Slippers Show School, there will be a once a year joining fee of £20 and you will be asked to fill in a registration form after your free trial class.

Tap, tap, tap Tap-tastic!

Tap is one of those classic styles that will never fade and a great style to pick up as an adult. Our tap class for adults is built on free work with a focus on technique, travelling and timesteps followed by the latter part of the class; a dance routine which is added to each week.

If you love the idea of tapping out rhythms and improving your timing, fitness and flexibility, then sign up to our tap-tastic tap class for adults.

Tap-tastic is bookable on a session basis and costs £5 per class or on a termly basis (10 sessions) for £50.

Wednesdays 1900 – 2000

Salsa Fusion – Solo

Salsa means ‘sauce’ in Spanish and is a combination of various Latin dances with roots in Africa and Cuba, with Latin and North American influences. Beginner level Salsa is relatively easy to learn and you can expect to be able to enjoy a basic Salsa social dance by the end of your first class!

Tuesdays 19:15pm – 20:15pm

Salsa Fusion is bookable on a session basis and costs £6.50 per class.
